FAQs:
Are travel costs included in private and day training?
- Yes! All prices include travel costs, pick ups and drop offs.
What are the benefits of day training?
- Quicker and more reliable results! By having the dog trainer do the training for you, you know you are in good hands. Professional dog trainer, Cat Watson, has many years' experience training dogs and knows how to adapt training styles to suit your dog. If you took your car to a garage and the mechanic talked you through how to do an oil change could you do it as quickly and efficiently as the professional?
Can I choose how many sessions?
- The amount of sessions required depends on the area you are training, the minimum requirement stated on package options ensures we can reach your end goal and produce reliable results. Additional sessions can be purchased if required.
Do I have to do any of the training?
- As part of the day training packages the only training you need to do is maintenance training. Your dog will already know just what to do so your transfer sessions will provide you with the ability to keep up with their new behaviours.
How long will it take to see results?
- This depends on the area of training but usually as early as the second week of training.
Where do you do the training?
- Wherever we need to! We can train in your home, on street walks, dog parks, the beach etc.
How do I know how many sessions I will need?
- Each package has a minimum number of sessions. If we feel extra sessions are required we will talk to you about this as soon as possible.
Why do I need the initial consultation?
- The initial consultation allows professional dog trainer, Cat Watson, to listen to your concerns, assess your dog and get to know them. You can ask any questions you may have and we can arrange any pick up/drop off times along with a training plan.
How much does training cost?
- Day training packages cost $750 which includes a 90 minute in home consultation, eight 1 hour training sessions and two 1 hour transfer sessions. Payment plans are available.
